I have a problem where one of my users (XP-Pro) that gets the profile error when they logon. It states something about roaming profile and permission. When I logon with any other username accept his I don’t get the error. We don’t use roaming profiles. I deleted his profile from the local workstation, removed the workstation from the domain but none of this fixed the problem. I know it’s a common problem but don’t know how to fix it. Many Thanks

I have run into an issue before where an invalid character was entered into the profile path of the users account in Active Directory. Double check that the profile property is really blank, not by just looking, rather by setting the cursor inside of the form and really clearing it. In the cases where I saw this, there was a single character that only showed up if you highlighted it, it looks like a space.

GR8, in all the other user accounts the profile path is empty. Some bright spark must have added a invalid directory to the users profile path.... Thanks
