I've searched Tek-Tips so I'll apologize up front but I can't find anything on the compatibilty of the Profgen/Newprof combination running on Windows XP Pro. Logging on as an administrator of the PC seems to work 'ok'. Logging on a "normal" user fails. A profile is created but it is named %username% and other details are missing as well. I've chosen the "Run As" administrator option for both Profgen and Newprof but no success. Any thoughts or experience you'd be willing to share.

Hi,

I am in the same position as you were in, just wondering if, and how you managed to sort it out. also any chance that you could list the outlook.prf file as well as the script that calls Profgen/Newprof

Thanks

Many Thanks

Yes we do have it working. There are two versions we had to create because some of our OEM purchases come with XP in the WINNT folder while others have XP installed in the WINDOWS folder...but it does work.

What is the best way for me to send you the files...it's too involved to "discuss".

If possible you could send them to yardyy@softhome.net please zip them up first though.

Thanks for your support, I have also been looking at Rich Profile, and have managed to get that working, took me about 5 mins, really 5 mins no joke. The link for this is
