we just opened a site with a 9308 and 14 4000Ms. Don't have much info on them yet but will soon.

What are you using for a routing protocol?

Ya, the 9308 and 8000M will not trunk over gigabit fiber. I had the management blade on the 9308 setup for 2 fiber pipes to the 8000 and tied them together with a trunk. Within a few moments all traffic will stop on the LAN and you will see a few broadcasts and thats about it. In fact, the fiber port eventually stopped working with predictability all together and so now I am stuck using 100 megabit to tie those segments together. You'd think the fiber port would have completely failed, but it hasn't. I did lose a 10/100 blade inside the 9308 in the spring of this year, it just gave up the ghost. ...............................
