Jun 23 14:24:12.265 XXXXXXXXXX isakmpd[1852]: 401 Internal error: Process terminating with signal 11 [Access violation at 0x0: eax=0x40d90000, ebx=0x169d37c, ecx=0x169a978, edx=0x169a978, esi=0x1536120, edi=0x149fb18, ebp=0x0, esp=0x169a9cc, eip=0x0]

I keep getting the above error message on my firewall, ver 7.0.4/Windows 2000. I have tried some of the hotfixes, ie: upgraded the swap file. I have all the latest patches installed. I have tried rebooting, and that lasted about a day but it came back. The only thing the Symantec knowledge base talks about is using patches from previous versions.

Does anyone have an idea of how to fix?

Thanks for the help.

Signal 11 errors are 95% of the time due to port conflicts, the first thing you should do is check the gsp.cf file to make sure that there are no ports that could be causing a conflict with some proxy ports. Below I have added some links that should help you resolve the issue.

Once I did see this error with the SRMC not having the latest patches also. Check the log messages above and below the signal 11 so that you can get a better idea of what is causing the error.

I hope this helps,
