Process name definitions in Task Bar?

Not sure what you mean exactly, does Task Manager cover what you want?
"The notification area of the taskbar is where you usually see the current time displayed. This area can become crowded with notification icons that appear when certain events occur, such as when you receive e-mail or when you open Task Manager. Windows displays a notification icon when an event occurs. After a short time, Windows puts the icon in the background to simplify that area. In addition, you can customize the behavior of notification icons on the Taskbar tab of the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialog box"

Or do you mean something like this.
Click on the embedded link via "EXE" in this paragraph from the above site -
"If you prefer the old format you can still download the HTML ZIP and EXE formats which consist of a single table arranged alphabetically and are recommended for regular visitors anyway. Also available is an EXCEL ZIP version which contains no hyperlinks. The columns in this version can obviously be sorted how ever the user wants to but no support is provided."
The above will provide you with a searchable list of processes and whether they are genuine or malware etc.

Sorry. I meant the Task Manager.
The Processes of Windows Task Manager list many processes like svchost.exe,javw.exe, spoolsv.exe, etc.
I'm justllooking for a list defining these exe programs. Looking each up individually with google is a pain. Many are XP-related.
