Plugged that third DTI into the CO module in port 8 on first combo card. The DTI lights flash and flash.

In HARDWARE it shows module 8 as PRI.

Possible two problems, as listed in other posts:
DTI card is NT7B74AA-93, not NT7B74AAAA?
System software is XC 6.1 FC (2003/06/07)?

Are these the source of the problem?

We have an enabler code for that third PRI, but are unclear if its needed. The fear is that it will overwrite existing codes and we'll loose the more critical primary PRIs.

The PRI code that you already have should be enough that keycode is system wide. But I think you do need the NT7B74AAAA.

Ensure that the DTI card is inserted into slot 1 of the trunk module.

There are only 2 seasons in Canada, Golf and Snowmobile season.

Hawks: Looks like that card is going to have to go back to the reseller if no one chips in with a contradiction--I know I specified the NT7B74AAAA. :)

Skippy440: Yes, the DTI is in slot 1.

their is a glitch with 6.1xc software it will work for a while but it will continue to reset by it self. their is a patch for it.

Thanks for all the answers.

The tech got a NT7B74AAAA module and the third PRI came up.

Thanks for the advice firenut1--I've actually purchased an upgrade to 7.0 and plan on working with my Nortel tech to install it next week.

Good Information. We are having the same problem. I beleive we have the trunk module plugged into slot 7. We have 1 combo and 1 regular fiber 6 mod. The Combo is in the first slot. The telco sees us in b channel lockout.

Our problem was a tech told us that the fiber trunk mod with the 3rd T1 could be in any slot of the fiber expansion module... not true. Once moved.. problm resolved! THANKS

That will do it, the T1 card takes up the whole trunk mod and will only work in slot 1.
