Problems with print paper size, etc. 1

Good morning, everyone! Can't believe it's Friday again! But I've encoutered two problems here.

1)I have a report which requires paper size Legal to print all contents on the report. My users don't like to do it manually. How can I hardcode to set paper size to Legal (by default it's Letter size)when the report is printing, and it will go back to Letter size as default after the printing job is done??

2)When viewing my Access report, I need to set up some properties of the print, so I go to the menu File---Print to let print dialog box showing, but somehow it's not there anymore due to my previous customizing Menu bar. How can I get the default back. I tried Restore default button on customize toolbar dialog box. But it didn't work.

Any help would be appreciated!!!

jinglin,

1. This was addressed in Access XP (2003) Since I don't have it, I don't know any more about that version

If you're using an older version, look at Thread702-560490

Be sure to read near the end about turning off Auto Correct. If that fixes the problem, it will be quicker/easier/etc.

2. Tools \ Customize \ Select your custom bar \ Delete

HTH,
Bob [morning]

Thanks for the link and the hint. Everything worked.
You certainly deserve a star.
Have a great weekend.
