Hi People,

I got a bit of a problem.

Firstly, im using Crystal 9.0.

Now, I have a database with a whole heap of call data: Date, Duration, inbound/outbound, etc

One table contains the actual call data and another table which collects other types of information such as, CATEGORY, STATE, CITY, SURNAME etc.

When i link the above table to another table which has the records of the calls received it looks like this:

CATEGORY Billing
COUNTRY Australia
CITY Sydney
PRODUCT dialup

Now, The items in the left column are all displayed from one field, KEYNAME and for each keyname spits out the value.

The problem im having is that if i want to group on say, PRODUCT = "dialup", then i lose all the other KEYNAMES.

Is there anyway to resolve this problem??

I know that i have given a really bad explanation here but its the best i can do.

If you require any further info, please ask.

Not sure, but try this. If you want to group on Product, then add the table again and link table to table_1 on the keyname field, using a left outer join FROM table to table_1. Then use a record selection formula like:

{table.keyname} = "PRODUCT"

You can then group on {table.keyname} and use the table_1 fields to display the other values.
