I recently installed a new Exchange server in our site and used the migration wizard to pull the account from our old server(different domain). Internet mail flows in and out with out a problem until I install ISA Standard. After installing this proxy/firewall, the internet mail just stays queued until it times out and becomes undeliveryable. I used the default settings and didn't really configure any security. We are able to access the internet and in can ping various email hosts, but the mail just doesn't flow; however, internal mail works fine. As soon as in uninstall the software, internet mail works again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Nick H

Pick one of those Internet mail hosts that you can ping and try and telnet onto it on port 25
eg "telnet mail.domain.com 25" - if you can't get a connection it's likely your firewall isn't letting traffic through on that port, even though it is letting pings through.
