Hi All,
Following the replacement of my main Domain Controller as per thread which as a whole went particularly well.. if anyone would like the steps I followed let me know.

The only thing I'm getting now are some errors on the new domain controller concerning Master Browswer and the like. The replaced machine was called server1 and it was the original DC on the network.. this server held all the FSMO roles. Before I took this out of the network I passed on all its roles to another server and then took it out of the network. The replacement server has the same name as the old server that was taken out of the network and also has the same IP address.. the other servers in the network are contacting the new server and requesting Master Browser connections which "server1" no longer is... so I am getting the following errors:

Event ID :8005
The Browswer has received a server announcement indicating that the server computer SERVER1 is a master browser, but this computer is not a master browser.

Event ID : 4319
A duplicate name has been detected on the TCP network. The IP address of the machine that sent the message is in the data. Use nbtstat -n in a command window to see which name is in conflict state

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I've checked the web for a solution but so far not been able to find one. Thanks in advance!!

HI guys
I have fixed this problem now.. had to make a change in the registry to point a server to become the Master browser as there wasn't one
