Problems opening localserver PDF links (Http:// always appears)

Sorry for maybe asking something too simple but I just cannot find an answer.

I have a web based application on our INTRANET that creates PDF files with links to other PDF files on the same destination. When I try to follow one of the links the " header appears in the destination on all links. Then IExplorer gives an error trying to search the internet for that link.

I am using Acrobat Reader 6 and I open the docs using the web browser. This problem did not happen before on previous Acrobat reader versions (EG. v5).
