Problems logging onto a domain

I have created a new W2000 domain with three DCs. I am using W95 and W98 clients to logon to this domain. However, when I try to logon I get the following error message,

The Domain password you supplied is not correct, or access to your logon server has been denied.

I have verified beyond doubt that my logon credentials are indeed correct.

In addition, I have other W2000 domains in my office and have no such problems logging onto them via W9x clients.

Does anyone have any idea why this may be occurring?

what you can do is the following:

1. remove the computer object(s) from active directory
2. Log on locally to the win9x machine(s) and remove its membership to the domain. try this on one machine first.
3. reboot the workstation.
4. make sure that win9x clients have AD Client software installed ( win2k advanced cd ).
5. add one workstation to domain.
6. check that the computer object in active directory has been created. if not you may need to create it manually.

reason for problem? mismatching DC/CLIENT SIDS.

Are all three AD DC's? If so are the trusts set and working?

Nothing suggested has worked yet. Also it can't be a trust problem because there is only one domain involved. Any other suggestions?

I have seen where a taking the client back to a workstation and then after the reboot rejoining the domain has solved the problem.
You can check in users and computers and see if the affected PC shows there. If not then the workgroup and back should solve it.
