problems logging into Extension Manager

I'm trying to login to the extension manager in order to change the time back from daylight savings. When I try to access the node, I get an error message "cannot access database at this time. synchronization is currently running".

Synchronization is not running although in the event log there is an error of " SYNC_CMD_LINE" for site1 by DNA user Ericsson failed.

Can anyone give me an idea of how to fix this? Although not one of the 450 users in the office have actually complained about the time being wrong yet....
 

close EMG, go to MDSupport and connect. Application/Access Control and minus out the entries. then close MDSupport and open EMG.
