Problems Inserting Date

Hey everyone,

I would like to insert the year and month in the following format:
YY-MM

I am new to access and have no idea how to go about this. Any ideas would be appreciated.

put this in the open event of the form
or modify it to fit in the data- default value of the forms properties

Me![Text2] = Format(Date, "yy") & "-" & Format(Date, "mm")
