First post and this is a good one.
i have just got a new computer, windows PC XP SP2 and I had ultradev then got a upgrade to dreamweaver mx 2004, on my old computer it worked fine, on my new computer the activation screen which appears, does not allow me access to to activate the product.
I have the codes for dreamweaver and ultradev, they both go into the box ok, with the green ticks by either side yet it keeps saying that it is unable to connect to the internet, even though there is a physica connection.
I also attempted to use the "Activation by phone" and when i put in the activation code and select language, once I click Activate, the program shuts down.
The activation log shows a 1101 error an e06d7363 error msg.
Dreamweaver support have escalated this error and I am awating their response. I have deactivated the licence from one computer and transfered it to another computer within the department floor, the product activated fine. I have also tried to activate in Safe Mode, but this displayed the same result.
Does anyone have a clue what could be occuring or have I got the first error of this type.
