I changed some IE6 settings and then set them back to default.

I now cannot log in to my hotmail account. I get the following error report:-

Cookies must be allowed
Your browser is currently set to block cookies. Your browser must allow cookies before you can use Windows Live ID.

Cookies are small text files stored on your computer that tell Windows Live ID sites and services when you're signed in. To learn how to allow cookies, see online help in your web browser.

I have set it not to block but still keep getting this message.

Any ideas? Many thanks

Set the privacy settings to default if you haven't already. (Tools> Internet Options> select the Privacy tab> click default, default should be Medium setting) Try clearing your cache out too. On the Gereral tab of Internet Options delete cookies, delete files (check to delete offline content), and clear the History.

See if there is anything here. Check that your date and time are correct too.
