problem with write start-up config??

I have a cisco router 2611 with IOS 12.1
When i write the config i get this message:
startup-config file open failed (not enough space)
Does anybody know how can i fix my problem??

do a show flash and a sh ver and see how much memory you have. You may need to write erase and copy your running back into the router. just a quick thought!!! Jeter@LasVegas.com
