Problem with WIC 2T interface card

Hi all,

I have encountered a problem with WIC 2T interface card. I tested it using a cisco 2620 router. I tested by connecting the cable from interface s 0/0 to interface s 0/1 on the same card. I have no problem while testing it using v.35 cable. However, when comes to RS232 cable, the interface becomes up and down repeatedly. May I know what is the reason. I asked this question because it happens on the newly arrived cards too. Thank you very much.
