Ok so I followed the following advice from this website:

When I came in this morning I had about 80 emails letting me know that Symantec deleted the following file because it ended in .js. Let me paste an example.

Location of the message: SystemMailbox{D446739A-DB97-4314-A900-61A5FD0B456B}/NON_IPM_SUBTREE/schema-root/microsoft/exchangeV1/exchweb/controls
Sender of the message: SystemMailbox{D446739A-DB97-4314-A900-61A5FD0B456B}
Subject of the message: frm_ComposeNote20.js

The attachment "frm_ComposeNote20.js" was Deleted.

This was done due to the following Symantec AVF settings:
Policy: Standard
SubPolicy: Property SubPolicy
Rule: Attachment Name Rule

So am i screwed now? What can I do? Do i need to even worry? As far as i can tell exchange is running fine. So is OWA. Thanks for the help.

If you need the .js files, tell Symantec AV to leave them alone. If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, excpect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.

Well,it looks as if they are part of mailmessages, so you better enable them. If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, excpect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.

It may be just me, but if you care for my opinion, get rid of that Norton stuff.
If you browse through other posts on the forums, you can read about all the negative things.
Of course it has it's fans, but in general it give you more trouble than what it's worth. If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, excpect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.

I agree with you on the posts about norton, but we have had pretty good luck with it since we got the corporate version installed. Its been cleaning our emails for well over a year now, and we usually get about 10 viruses a day, most of them are Klez but we still get them none the less. Its scary to think how many pc's out there are really infected.

Well I did not mean to remove antivirus alltogether, but just from experience, Norton is known to cause problem more than others.
Personally, I don't care so much for server based antivirus. Protecting the workstations and keep them up to date is a safer way.
I don't know your setup, but I have seen big companies putting everything on the server and nothing on the desktop. Nice...until someone walks in with an infected disk or CD, bingo! If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, excpect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.
