Problem with sendmail aix 4.3.2 ( lotus notes )

I have this problem with my rs600 43P model 150.
It's configured to speak with smtp ( it see server Lotus notes and domain ). Infact when i write command smtp i able to send mail to lotus . But i run with sendmail i have this message :

pippo.pluto@bpv.it Local host not found.

The problem is my version sendmail ???
