Drive should hold 50 Gb of data when I checked how much data it has there was only 10 Gb. OS reports that only 31 Mb left for use - critical. Is there some hidden directories and/or files that I cannot see? I have admin rights on that server. What is going on ?
Thanks for your help

Try deleting temporary files (not the current day's files they will be locked, others should not be locked unless in use). I found that sometimes the files do not report actual size correctly. The problem I had seemed to be caused by the ones created by the license service and having to reboot the server automatically. When I deleted the files, gigabytes were freed up even though the directory only showed a size of about 200 to 300 megs.

igortr1,

Silly question...but is the driver partitioned? The physical drive can show your 50Gb with a system partion of only 10GB. What OS is it? I'm assuming NT4.
Additionally, if you go to folder options/View, and turn on "Show hidden files and folders" and uncheck "Hide protected operating system files", apply it to ALL FOLDERS and it might give you some insight.
