Problem with NT4 BDC after in-place upgrade to 2003

Recently I made in-place upgrade nt4 to 2003 server AD.
I've got 2 more nt4 BDC machines which are file-servers at the same time. Now when I create new user these 2 machines can not recognize it. I don't face these problem on any others machine. Any idea?

What service packs are running on the two BDC's that aren't working? They need to be at least Service Pack 5 or above.

What is the Domain Functional level of the new AD domain?
