Hi
I setup a non-NDPS printer (a print server, a print queue and a pritner) on my server but I could not get it working, can anyone give me a hand?
I set up like this :
At a workstation with the 'novell client for windows' installed, I login as 'admin'. Firing up 'nwadmin32' in 'sys
ublic\win32', I click 'print server quick setup (non-NDPS)' in the tools menu. Taking all the defaults a print server, a print queue and a printer was created on the server.
Next I click 'Add a printer' in w2k's printer settings. Then I choose 'network printer'. I browse thru my network and found Q1 under my sever (or should I find my printer instead?). It leaves me no other choice but to use it. Going thru all others as usual, I install a window printer. I could not define another name for it during installation.
On the server side, I then go to the system console and 'load pserver ps-name' I then tried to print a test page from the workstation printer but the printer doesn't seems like to run. When I click the printer, I found the print job there. Did I miss anything to make this server-printer runnig?
Thanks for all your input.
