- Installed ISA Server on Win200 Server with Modem...
IP: 192.168.1.30

- Surfing works fine without and with proxy at the server
192.168.1.30:8080 in LAN Connections at the server...
- But there is no surfing possible on the workstation with 192.168.1.1 even when I put 192.168.1.30:8080 in LAN Connections
- Pinging in both directions works fine, so the PCs have connection
- Configuration of ISA at Server:
- A new protocol rule

Why does this not work for the client?
thanx...

Can you ping to the Internet from 192.168.1.1?

Can you ping from other clients?

If not then you should enable routing and remote access..

I can do pings from Server and client like:
ping 192.168.1.30 or ping 192.168.1.1 with success,
but not
ping from client or server....
May a DNS-problem?

I understand that you are not able to ping the Internet from any clients so go for Routing and Remote access to configure your w2k server as a router.
