I have a peculiar problem with a 406V2 4.0.5 and a CISCO system. The physical trunks are on the CISCO and are used by the IP office via an IP trunk. Now lets say that the number 22021xxx is used by the IPO. If I call from the IP office to an outside number all is well and I see the 22201xxx number. But if I call from an outside number to the 22201xxx number I get a "line error" tone and the line is droped. I have configured in the IPO the 222xxxxx number to ring to ext203, and the CISCO sends me the correct MSN number. Here is what system monitor shows:

688407mS CMCallPkt: v=0
CMSetup
Line: type=IPLine 9 Call: lid=9 id=4 in=1

688408mS CMCallEvt: CREATE CALL:4
688409mS CMCallEvt: 0.1009.0 -1 BaseEP: NEW CMEndpoint fede4aa0 TOTAL NOW=2 CALL_LIST=0
688413mS CMCallEvt: 9.4.1 4 H323TrunkEP: StateChange: END=A CMCSIdle->CMCSDialInitiated

688420mS H245Tx: v=0 peb=9
endSessionCommand

Now if the CISCO sends me instead of the MSN number an extension like 203 the ext203 rings. This is what I get in system monitor:

Does anybody know what might be the problem?

Thanks

Create a shortcode in the shortcode list of the receiving IP Line like this:

SC = 22201xxx
TN = N
LineID = 0
function = DialEtxn

Sorry for the delay in answering if i tried it or not. I will try it tomorrow, but I have a quick question. Should I leave the incoming call route for the number or no.

Thanks

intrigant is right, incoming calls on ip trunks don't follow ICR, they look for short codes
