Problem with Exmerge and Exchange 2003

Hi!

I'm trying to delete mail from mailboxes based on dates. When I run Exmerge I get the following error: " Error opening message store (MSEMS). Verify that the Microsoft Exchange Information Store is running and that you have the
correct permission to log on." This message finds several Technet kb articles and I have check kb322312, "When the Mailbox Merge program Tries to Open the Message Store, the Operation Is Unsuccessful" and I comply with all
the steps.

Also, can Exmerge delete not just copy mail from mailboxes based on dates?

Any assistance is appreciated.

Yes, you can create a Recipient Policy to automatically clean out any Exchange folder depending on age.
