Problem with DNS manager NT 4.0?????

I have a what will probably be a simple question, but I am trying to add an A and an MX record into my Domain through DNS manager, but for some unknown reason (at least unknown to me) When I right click on the zone, all the options are grayed out. Any ideas why it won't let me add a new record??? Your help is greatly appreciated.

I know this is going to sound silly, but have you installed the dns service in add/remove programs - windows options? Sorry to be oversimplistic, but I always start at the begininning. Good luck.

Do you have a Primary and Secondary DNS server? It sounds like you are trying to add the records to your Secondary, which you can't do.
