We have a user who is having problems with Microsoft Word. When she pulls up a new document and tries to change from portrait to landscape she gets a message saying "settings you choose for left to right margins, column spacing, or paragraph indentations are too large for the page width in some sections". Her default settings are the same as the rest of ours (1.25 top and bottom margins and 1 inch on left and right). If we click to change default we get the same message. Does anyone know how we might fix this?

Thanks,

Jeanie

Check what her default printer has been set to. It may be that the default printer has a different driver installed (if it is the same as yours), or different to the ones you are using.

Margins are governed by what you print to and the ability of the driver and the printer to print what you request.

I went for the easiest fix first - and it worked! Thanks both of you for your help.
