Hello,

I have a problem with a printer. My client has a printer that he always has used in an dos program. Now he wants to switch to an windows program.
But I have the following problem: it is not possible to install a driver for this printer. I already tried everything I could think of. Now I would like to know if there is a way that I can send an document to this printer and don't need a driver.
If there is a way can you then also explain how I have to do this.

Thanx in advance
Els

I recommend you post this question in the Microsoft: Windows XP Pro forum. Also, I recommend that you mention the make and model of printer that you are trying to use.

George,

The printer is an Epson TM-300B this is a small matrix printer (a ticketprinter)

I hope you are more with this information.

I have had a problem with a Epson TM printer before running on a POS unit, try installing it as a Generic - Generic / Text Only printer and when prompted for a printer name put down the correct name, eg Epson TM-300B

I have tried it with installing a generic printer but it still doesn't want to work.
