Hello,

I have got a wierd problem, and some of my collegue's also experianced them, and untill now we have not found a solution for this. Maybe anyone here can help us out.

On our printer server which is running on Windows 2003 we added a Nashuatec copier (a machine that can do it all). When asking for the printer properties i see that only drivers are installed for win xp / 2000 and 2003. Our windows NT 4 workstation get (ofcource) a question to install the drivers from other resources since they are not installed on the server.

I downloaded the drivers and when selecting the additional drivers button and brows to the nt 4 drivers directory and select the installation file i get an error :

Windows cannot locate the printer driver, please contact your administrator .....

I got this error with different versions of drivers i downloaded (pcl 5e and pcl 6).

As result i had to install the printer on the server which is on location, but this is something i dont want to do since i want to control everything from one server.

Does anyone know why he gives this error and how i can solve this problem ?

Thanks in advance.

With best regards,
Peter Jensen
