We have been have having problems with our OWA server disk filling up. Microsoft recommended that we restore server information store. Anyway we had to rebuild server to get it function properly. Good news is that OWA is now working, bad news is that the public folders that were stored on the server are unnaccessible and the free/busy part of the calendar is not working for most users. There are a couple that seem to work but for the most part when you try to invite a user to a meeting there are ////lines across the entry and it states something to the effect that the server is unavailable.

Anyone had this experience before?

Thanks in advance for your assistance

Give this a try on 1 client to see if it restores the free/busy information. If it works, you could repeat this for all mailboxes by chaning the default e-mail box on 1 client and subsequently running this produre. We had free/busy problems and this fixed the issue when other solutions did not work.

How to fix a corrupted free/busy calendar:

Symptoms: When scheduling a meeting, a white box with black lines appears for the current month and subsequent months. If the white box with black lines only appears for certain months, adjust the free/busy publishing interval on the client.

1) start/settings/control panel/mail. Change the default name on your Exchange server client to the client with the mail problem. Click OK.
2) Start/run copy the following command:
"c:\program files\Microsoft Office\Office\outlook.exe" /cleanfreebusy
Click enter, and Outlook will launch.
3) Answer "no" to update shortcuts.
4) Wait a minute for the system to rebuild the free/busy data. Exit Outlook.
