Problem setting up trust relationship

I am trying to setup a trust relationship between 2 Active Directory domains.

Setting up the Trust entry on 1 of the DC's is fine, but when I try and add it on the other (which is a brand new domain) it results in the following message;

Access to the domain **** is denied. Check that the password is correct and then try again.

The domain name is fine and I am 100% certain that I am entering the correct password as well. What could be wrong?

on your first DC - have you ensured there is an entry in the trusted and trusting part (cos it needs to replicate this setting to other dcs (and to itself!!!)) "Work to live, don't live to work"
