When I attemnpt to save an image from a web page, it is coming up as an "untitled" .bmp file in the save window. This just started recently. Usually when I save an image, the actual name of the file comes up and the actual picture format (jpg, bmp, etc). However, now it is only allowing me to save as a bmp file and is not showing the actual file name. There must be some problem in my settings, but I can not figure out what it is. Could someone please advise me on this matter? Thanks, in advance.

Problem saving images from web pages..please advise

Is this occurring on EVERY pic download you attempt? or just this particular one? When it comes to picking objects off of web pages, you are sometimes limited to the attributes ascribed to the object by the author of the page. In this case, the object may be unnamed and also only available to you in .bmp format.

This is happening *every* time I attempt to save an image. I've even checked the properties of pics I'm saving and they are jpog files with an actual file name, but when I attempt to save them, they come up as "untitled" bmp files.
