I have an HP 970 Desk jet shared out on a 2K Professional machine. Everyone in the office running 2K Prof can print to this printer over the network, but nobody on an NT4 workstation can print to it. They can all add it, but they can't print. I am assuming that this is because it only has a 2K driver on the 2K machine. I went into properties of the printer on the 2K machine and clicked on "additional driver" and tried to add one for NT. It prompted me for an NT cd, but it couldn't install it. I also tried to change the driver on the NT client, but the option was grayed out. Is there any way to set this printer up so that NT clients can print to it?

Hi
the best way is to install the NT4 driver from HP to the win2k boxthis will list in addional drivers
(you will need to re-install the printer (to all PC's))
using the NT4 driver which is normally comatible with "k and NT4 you will be able to use the printer on Both OS's.
