I had just loaded another 500 fonts into my list of fonts folder, now when I open my application it took a little while to collect all the fonts but at least it opened. Now, when I close the application then open it again only a few fonts appeared. The third time I opened my application there were no fonts in the combo box.

What am I doing wrong?

It used work just fine when I had the usual fonts from windows and office in the collection, but now that I added an extra 500 fonts, it's playing up.

Can anyone please help me figure this dilema out for me.

Andrew.

Oh, by the way, They're all TTF's.

I'm VB5 in using Win98SE.

I did however found a font that was troubling me, now that I got rid it. It seems to be working ok, what I mean as in ok, I mean that I would still like to load the fonts at startup but I have tried to do this and find myself only loading a few again.

Is there a way that I can securely allow my application to load all fonts without any hickups? I'd like to be able to force a list to be gathering all the Screen.Fonts and when opening another window that uses those fonts that the user does not think that the application had hung.

When loading a large number of fonts, I had noticed it does take sometime for the list to be completed in the combo box and would love to be able to preload the list somehow.

Is there a way that this can be achieved?

Thanks again for your time,

Andrew.
