I am using CR9. I am trying to upgrade a report created using a query designed in Info SQL designer 7.x to use the command option in CR9.0.
This is what I am trying to do, Add the SQL query used by the 7.x report to the Command repository in CR9 and using the "Set Datasource location" change the old query to this new command in the repository and update the report. Everything works fine and I am able to preview the data but when I try to save this report using "Save as" option I get these messages
1. "Failed to save report"
2. "Failed to save Database information"
3. "Query Engine Error: The specified Object was not saved"
HAve anyone come across this problem. Am I missing something or is it not possible to convert old reports created using the SQL designer to use the command option in CR9 without redesigning the entire report?
Any help would be immensely appreciated.
