hello,
I am facing some problem in opening .eml file in IE 6.0 on Windows 2000 server.
I working with a helpdesk application through which I can generate requests send via Email. When I send an Email along with an attachment, the application creates a request & stores this email attachment in a folder on my hard disk, namely 'Repository'.The files within the Repository folder have .eml extension.
I can open this files from this folder. This files opens up in Microsoft Outlook Express.
BUt,in my case a virtual directory 'EmailRepository' is configured in IIS 5.0 to map to this 'Repository' folder.
So when I open this attachment file from my helpdesk application,it should open it through the browser from the configured web server.
Now, what is happening is while opening the attachment document the URL of the IE 6.0 browser becomes mhtml: & the page cannot be displayed.
How do I open an .eml extension in web browser ? Do I need any configuration to be done on IE 6.0 or Outlook Express or in IIS ?
Waiting for your reply
Thanks in adavnce
