Problem: i need to insert an jpeg

Problem:
i need to insert an jpeg file into an sql database from vb code

Background:
i am using aspx web forms and vb.net code


Function:
i need to insert a jpeg that is created at runtime into an sql database
so i can load it into a dataset that will be used by crystal report for visual studio.net

Results:
i will either load the report or export it to .pdf

please can you help me solve my problem?

The method I used was with VB6 to have a form with picture objects bound to an OLE/BLOB field. Load the picture, save the record, then go on to the next one....

The other solution I developed was to use a COM data driver to retrieve the image at run time. Crystal Reports could then use the COM data source to display the image. There is an eval copy of cViewIMAGE on my web site.
