I need to create some kind of container object that can obviously hold other objects and be able to scroll beyond it's size capacity.

Opologies if this is a bit vague but can anyone throw me in the right direction.

Look forward to hearing your suggestions

Chris

If you use VFP6.0 or VFP7.0 you can create a form with scrollbars. Check the Scrollbars property in the form.

Hi mgagnon

What I'd really like to do is just make a section of a form scroll

You could create a container that holds your objects (ie: text boxes, combo, pictures, etc...) and create a grid with one column and change your CurrentControl to your container and there you have it, a container that holds many objects with scrollbars. If you need an example, please e-mail me, I'll send one to you.

I had a go at that and I can get more or less what I want but i'm have trouble unbinding the recordsourcetype of the grid. ie. the grid is looking for some kind of recordsource so it can display records (in this case display my container object)

any suggestions???

Thanks for your time
