Hi , I have a Cisco 4500 M routers I tried to upgrade it's IOS and in the mean time was playing with it's registers.. I must have put in the wrong value because when reloaded all i get is fÿÌ`fÿÌæ†fæ†f3f0Ìþ˜~3ø˜˜<3˜†žf<À†øæž`?þž<þžàž˜žøž > PLEASE PLEASE HELP. what can i reload or reset to get my router back.. Thanks SO much
 
Have you consdiering entering the Bootstrap Program?
Send a break sequence to the console as the router starts the boot process and the router drops into ROMMON.

In ROMMON, boot directly to an image on bootflash.
Set the configuration register to 0x0 by entering the following: o/r 0x0. This will reset the configuration to defaults.

You can also try to reseat (remove and then reinsert) SIMM memory. Route once; switch many
