Using Quark 4.11 in Mac OS 9.2, I am encountering a problem when trying to add a blank master page to a series of pages in a book. This is a cookbook with a bunch of recipes. The book is partially layed out and additional recipe pages come in that have to be added in a certain order. This means the pages need to get reshuffled when, say, a new page 16 reshuffles an existing page 16 to page 17 and all the pages after it.
Here's what happens: I bring in a blank recipe master page into the facing page document layout. The Force Right pointer appears and the blank page falls in place and reshuffles all the pages after it as it should. The problem is, in all these pages, the text boxes align as if they are in their former facing page positions (since the outer and inner page dimensions are supposed to be aligned off-center) and the footers are in the opposite positon that they should be, screwing up everything. Is there a right way to do this or am I to resort to manually realigning every page of a 500 page book??
