PRIVATE LINE CONF

hi all,
we have a PRI E1 line. it is working fine. but i want one of the number configure as a private line IAO for a dn. when i off hook i want get dial tone from that number i can dial directly out and if someone calls that specific number from outside it must ring at the same dn.
does anybody have any idea how i can configure the number ??

do you have seperate numbers routed to each channel? if so the the route needs to be auto = yes and the atdn needs to be set to the pvr xxxx key on that set.. if it's a did, then just make it a hot d 1 9, for a easy private line (out) and a normal did in...

all seperate numbers in the pri line. i have 15 DID numbers in the same root and i am going to configure one of the numbers as a private line. do i need use a sperate route. i think in this case i will take it out from that route ??

no, a did is always a a virtual pvr.. the co sends the digits on the next ava trunk.. i have 10000 did's on 260 trunks.. you can use any trunk for a private outbound, but that will not stop the co from using it inbound.. a pvr would be if i had telco demark a new number and one trunk the add it and assign it to my phone.. for a private outbound

.. now you don't need to dial 9, but you can not dial a internal ext.. that would give you key 1 private out, key 0 a normal did
