How can I prioritise telnet traffic on certain interfaces on a Cisco 3560 switch running IOS version 12.2?

Is there a way of managing bandwidth. I have seen this on the web but the command does not appear to be available on this switch?

Hope someone can help?

are you seeing issues with congestion on the switch??

We are not seeing congestion issues but we have some RDT guns which use telnet to connect to the server. These are experiencing disconnections. Our Server software supplier and the RDT supplier are saying that they want us to implement priority of service on telnet before they will investigate further as they believe this will help. I am not sure but want to get this implemented so I can ask them to look into it further.

look at interface statistics to see if there are any drops as well as utilization. this will give you a good idea of where you're at. are these telnet connections going over a WAN circuit??

Yes, they are going over two separate 150 MB/s radio links. However this was happening also before when they were going over two 10 MB/s LES 10 circiuts. The same problem is happening at both sites. We do have a couple of VoIP phones on both sites though.
