We have a windows 2000 server running off that server we have 50 pcs that are running windows 95/98/2000. We have kyocera printers on the network with both 95/98 drivers and 2000 drivers
We have been expericening problems printing from a pc running window 2000 the problem is intermittant but is regular enough to be causing a headache. The user can be printing fine from any program (Word, Excel) then the very next print they do only half the document will be printed and no matter what you try to do with the document or PC only half the document will print. That is unless you then print the same document from a windows 98 or 95 machine then the document will print completely fine.
I have already upload the most recent 2000 printer drivers but that does not seem to be the solution. I spoke to Kyocera and they have said to me it is a known problem with windows 2000 and that it happens to all different printers not just to Kyocera they were going to look into it and see if they could fine a solution or work round but in the meantime I am trying to resolve this issue myself if it is possible.
Has anyone else come across this problem? if so did they find a solution
Please let me know.
