Hello,
I have a Novell 5.1 Network, latest patches and novell clients and Win2K clients with uptodate service packs etc.
All latest printer drivers are being used.
All network queue based printing works fine and dandy
However, on PC's with a printer attached direct to the pc parallel port is where I have problems. Windows 2000 correctly identifies and installs the relevant printer driver and I can sucessfully print a test page, but when I log out and print again, you can see the document spooling in the queue but then it disappears and nothing happens.
The only way round this is to delete the printer and have w2K auto-detect it again.
Not sure if this is relevant but I am using ZenWorks to administer the W2K account (as multiple users log in to one PC) and I am pushing out a default win2K login as being a member of "Users" with volatile user set at 365 days.
Any hint of what to try would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Oz
