printing problem, urgent--- please

i have a ibm thinkPad with w2k proffesionalj,

i am conected in a peer-to-peer network,


i want to print in a printer that is in another computer with win98 se,
the printer is an panasonic kx-p7100 conected with usb port.


i had tryed intalling, re-installing the driver, but, i can not print , and the another desktop computer can do it, without problem......


only i, can`t print.....

what may be the problem......

If the printer is shared over the network then browse to it via network neighborhood and drag and drop it into your printers folder. If you get any errors doing this or if it still dont work let me know. Usually this fixes it though.

yes, it is shared, and did not get any error, only, question if i want install another printer, because it is still installed.....


my great problem is, that, when i send any documents to the printer it seem like printing, and the printer got the motion of printing, but , do not printing nothing,

the printer show the 3 light blinking, and sound how if it go to print, but no print....

what may be....

i am frustrated,

i have another pc with win2k and i have do not problem, only in my ibm laptop thinkpag got the problem.......

ok.....

i remove all the printer and windows register from my computer.......

i try drag & drop from where the printer are to my printer folder and i get the error message:

the server where reside the printer "Panasonic KX-P7100" have not installed the controller of the right printer.

if you want install the controller in you local machine done click in Ok button.

the pc that have the printer attach is a win98 se Operating System, and is conectec using a USB conector....
before the printer is conected usint parallel cable and i have no problem....

but, today, all the another computer printing correctly, and my laptop do no print.....

somebody have any idea please......
