I'm hoping someone can help me figure out how to write the current page number and total page number of the of the printed webpage using the javascript print function. I'm not talking about using the IE Explorer print properties that display the header and footer, but instead wanted to know if there was a javascript that'll write the page numbers on each page printed corresponding to the total number of pages from a website using the javascript print. I hope what im asking makes sense.

Thanks.

sorry. No can do.

Javascript can only call the system or browser print dialog. People will have to set up their printing the way they desire using that dialog.

I wished I could have been helpful by giving you a way to do what you wanted, unfortunatly the best I can do is save you some time by explaining why it cannot be done. :) Gary Haran
