How do you print multiple files without opening them? Is it possible? When I select them from the file list and then print, it just doesn't work. Thanks for your help.
Normally I just go to my computer, and to my documents highlight all of the documents I want to print, then right click once they are highlighted, and click on print. That normally will open each one, send it to the printer and then close it. I've never seen that error before, so I did a Google on TmpDDE, as well as a Microsoft knowledge base search.
When the DDE link is interrupted, it leaves a tmpDDE macro on your workstation. This macro prevents a new DDE link from being created. Therefore, once the error has already occurred, you must manually remove tmpDDE from the list of running macros before HotDocs can work again.
To remove the tmpDDE macro
At the tmpDDE error message, click OK.
In Microsoft Word, click Macro (Tools menu), then select Macros. The Macros dialog box appears.
Click Organizer. The Organizer dialog box appears.
Select the Macro Project Items tab. The dialog box changes to show macro project items.
In the In Normal.dot box, select the tmpDDE macro, then click Delete. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the removal of the macro.
Click Close to return to your document, then close Microsoft Word.
Restart Word and continue editing or assembling your document.
Thank you, Kaycek. I ran a search through google, deleted the tmpDDE macro as stated above and got another error message. HOWEVER, once I rebooted, it worked. Thank you again.
