I am sure this is a bug, I first noticed it in Paradox 7, it is still in V9.

If you want to print grid lines, you have to give the grid a colour I usually use blue or red, if you accept the default black, the grid does not print.

Happened to me for a while, a couple of years ago, but can't remember the fix. It had something to do with either (a) non-default Windows display background colour (right click the windows desktop) or (b) my overwriting the defaults using CopyToToolBar. Try re-install Paradox.

Well I have reinstalled several times. Remember this has been going on since version 7. I have not however reset to the standard windows colours, although I do not have outlandish ones, just a grey screen.

I will experiment with the settings and see. Thanks.

You were right. Set the Windows desktop colour to that awful standard greeny colour and low and behold grids in black in Paradox!

Change the desktop colour to grey and no grids print.

When I wrote re-install Pdox, I meant "delete all your .fp and .ft files and re-install". Like configuration files, existing sytle sheets are not overwritten on an install.

Yes I realised that about the .fp and .ft files, it just that on 2 occasions I have had such bad problems as to have to re-install everything after a reformat.
