Hi,

I am very very new to .NET, infact I have not ever written anything.

I am investigating options for a solution and I was wondering if it is possible to print a given file to the default printer in .NET C#. A colleague has tried unsuccessfully in VB.

The aim is to print an image to the default printer which I would then set to be Adobe distiller. It would be a crude way of producing a PDF.

Any advice would be much appreciated,
Marcus

It is possible to load a bitmap and then print it. No problems in doing that at all. To print a "given file" depends on what is in that file - it will have to be loaded into the program...
If it is the correct way of producing a pdf - well, that is a totally different question, I heard that much easier way exist using e.g Perl.
